The short answer is, yes.
War2.ru currently enforces a mandatory screenshot policy that requires all users to take screenshots on request in order to prevent “hacking”. Hacking means using third-party software that gives you an unfair advantage in a match, like disabling fog of war (aka cheating). Our complete screenshot policy can be viewed here.
Screenshots must be uploaded online in a timely fashion after the conclusion of the match. We provide an upload service at ss.war2.ru.
If someone asks you for a screenshot and you ignore them or refuse to take one then you will be treated the same as a confirmed hacker and punished accordingly (usually with a temporary ban). Repeated infractions will receive progressively harsher punishments. If you genuinely don’t know how to take or find screenshots then admins will usually grant some leniency the first time you’re reported, but you will be expected to learn how to take screenshots so you know in the future. We have a detailed article explaining how here.
In 2015 we released a beta version of an anti-hack system that automatically detects when hacks are in use and will eventually notify all players in the match and potentially kick the hacker from the server. This system is still under development, so as of right now the screenshot policy will remain in effect indefinitely.
