DreamerMike: what’s the biggest thing u notice different now, than say 4 years ago, and say 2 years ago?

Kdogg~: 4 years ago, the game was more a strategy game, more all around….nowadays it’s who can produce the most of one unit, not as much strategy involved as skill anymore

DreamerMike: do you think that’s because of classics vs customs? or just that ppl all use the same strats now?

Kdogg~: i think it’s more that people make maps that start with excess resources

Kdogg~: the maps have evolved

Kdogg~: hardly any maps that used to be played as customs are played now

DreamerMike: but u r known as a customs player… why is that since u feel that way about super high res?

Kdogg~: i feel that takes away part of the game that it was started as, where you had to get resources. High resources was started as 10000 gold, 5000 lumber now people need to start with 65k of each

DreamerMike: so why dont u stick to built ins rather than 65k customs?

Kdogg~: nowadays i play more builtins because there is a lot more challenge in them, a lot more unpredictablility

DreamerMike: how do you compare on built ins versus the w2lc or [24-7] community?

DreamerMike: skill-wise

Kdogg~: im right up there with most of them, but im more 50% player there, sometimes you just get lucky, or vis-a-versa

Kdogg~: there aren’t just a few strats to use in builtins, there are an unlimited amount

Kdogg~: some strats work against each other in your favor, and some kill you

DreamerMike: how would u say your games are divided between customs and built-ins?

Kdogg~: 50/50

DreamerMike: what clans have u been in?

DreamerMike: and y r u solo now?

Kdogg~: )(dogg)(, {ban}, Dreamer, (UT). Im solo because you’re not obligated to play with your clan mates, almost always there are some you dont like to play with, and you can play with your friends over your clan mates

DreamerMike: some ppl say your among the top 10 all-time overall players… do you agree with that? what would u rank yourself among the top customs players?

Kdogg~: yeah i agree with that….Overall i think maybe #1 or #2. Not because im conceided, but many people might be able to beat me in one map, but for every one map that they can beat me in, I can beat them in at least 2

DreamerMike: was there a defining moment or match where u feel u became recognized as a top player?

Kdogg~: back on Kali when i beat Stallion-, or Anh~pr(), or Raven on Gruntwork

Kdogg~: or possibly beating *$@W*Hornet in ez5pesants

DreamerMike: list your choices for the 5 most overrated customs players on bnet currently

Kdogg~: hmm I’m not really quite sure who those 5 most overrated people are….I would say basically anyone in the Mr` clan or in clan (1o3)

DreamerMike: any players you feel are very underrated?

Kdogg~: by a lot of people, i feel me for one, Stallion-, {ban}Crack

DreamerMike: if u were to form your own clan, would u emphasize skill or attitude primarily?

Kdogg~: i think those things are both entangled in themselves….some players are just too cocky and make themselves look bad, although they have the skill

DreamerMike: which of them would be the greater priority for membership? an above average player with a great attitude or a great player with a poor attitude?

Kdogg~: i would look more towards the above average player with a great attitude because those are people that are more dependable

DreamerMike: list some ppl u would invite, and some ppl u wouldn’t accept under any circumstances

Kdogg~: Crack, Briskk, Shadowcc, Stallion-, Redemption, DreamerMike, DreamerBob, Turbo, Spliffstar are a few of the people i would invite. I definately wouldn’t invite SHYT, Terror, or Slick

DreamerMike: some ppl have said u r a dick; do u think this is fair? if not, y do u think they say so?

Kdogg~: yeah do some people I am a dick. To all those underskilled one pudders I do target them because I dont really care what they think. They dont have the skill to be able to hang with me, so I dont bother giving them any slack

DreamerMike: what’s your take on clans? good thing or bad? and name the clan u think is “best” in bnet’s history and why u think so (however u define “best” is fine, whether that’s skill, organization, loyalty, whatever) and the one clan u think has been the worst. also, tell us what u think about the currently active bnet clans (dreamer, mr, etc).

Kdogg~: Clans can be a very good thing, when the right players are put together, it is amazing the strength they have together. In history the best clan I’ve come across was the )(dogg)( clan on Kali. Skill wise, they were by far superior to any clan that opposed. Their compatibilitly on all puds with any of their players was supperb. It was also the most loyal because of the superiority. The worst clan I believe would have to be the (1o3) clan. A clan shouldn’t be formed over one pud with cocky attitudes. This gives the clan a bad rap and is impossible for them to overcome this. Currently the best clan is Dreamer because of their loyalty of all of their members. No dreamer from what I’ve seen has left the clan because of another offer

DreamerMike: have u ever hacked? if so, what were the circumstances?

Kdogg~: Yes I did use to hack. I was losing my edge on everyone and was desperate. I couldn’t afford to lose that edge, but then I realized that I just didn’t give a fuck anymore and stopped. Now I’m better than ever, and those didn’t contribute anything to my skill. If anything they helped me learned the maps

DreamerMike: was the SS floating around on the UT page 2 years ago that showed u with level 6 ogres real?

Kdogg~: no, the SS was on there from Briskk, he made a name spoof on my playerjon name, pIayerjon
