War2Combat since v4.3 and newer now have the full version, it includes all the music, movies and briefings. So, you don’t need that if you install new War2Combat.
The music & some other sound effects like pre-game briefings in the campaign are deliberately removed to reduce space & make war2combat more portable. You can restore them by replacing the “install.exe” file included in war2combat with a full copy from the original War2BNE CD.
Full Fix

- Close war2 if running
- Copy/paste into the C:\War2combat directory (overwriting the existing one)
- All music & other sound effects are now restored to war2combat!
Partial Fix
If you can’t download the install.exe for whatever reason, you can alternatively use our “War2Music.exe” utility (available on the downloads page) to restore several of the music tracks only.

Hello the community ! I introduce myself, my name is Nicolas and I am one of the old fans of Warcraft II. I was really disgusted that the Battle.Net edition was really rotten in terms of music and sounds. I was forced to replace all the sound effects of the original game in the installation folder. However, I failed to correct the soundtrack. How is it possible to replace the truncated sound files with the originals?
