i’ve been practicing randomly, and i’ve come to find out that my new 2/12 dual is quite good. This strat works only with humans.

12 should be sealed with a farm n a smith, 2 with 2 farms and a rax ( make sure you can pump out footies when you build your rax),have 2 gts for defense, and always have 2 peasants out. Those peasants will go anywhere you’d like to build a mill, later on you can use these peasants for mage towers, towering, farming, ect. ( it is vital you have those peasants out ), i use them for farms n them mages every game, and expanding.

Build 3 foots just to have, you can pressure other duals, or patrol the empty spots, ( if your enemy is rushing, build another rax above 2 and hide some foots to get dem cats. This 12/2 build allows you to get an ecomny going Quite quickly. if you hold off the first rush, you are pretty much golden, if you are fighting someone that is better than you, you will need a cannon to help the possible gts you have thrown up. If you built everything correctly, and have done everything efficently, you should hav 15k stashed, make sure you get a fast castle, ( which is easy ) and put up 4 gryphon towers Or w/e they are called :D.

while those go up, You should have all spots scouted and under control,( make sure to send more footies to the extra spots if your scouts and/or patrols are killed. You exp with your outside peasants, after you contruct atleast 3 mage towers in handie spots. the enemy will think they can just run your dual over with d&d, so make the procation to have mage towers at 2/12, ( most definately 12, since theres s12 for you, which makes 12/2 a good air dualing spot. Since humans are handie with mages, ( Which is your lifeline, you will be able to research, slow, invs, polymorph, ect.

This dual works even vs another dual Or even a 3 hall if you decide to power to mages when you scout the 3 hall, use your foots to pressure the 3 hall, you can do w/e you’d like, this strat is totally flexible i highly recommended it. I have beaten many people with this dual, most i have losing records to, and continued to beat them with the same strat…. I tell everyone this great strat since i am retired, one of the fruits of constant play of wc2…. all of my researching payed off.. for what it was worth… Give it a try even if you think it sounds dumb, which i doubt.
