I failed grade 8 because of this game.

Most memorable games/times?

all the nights that I played this game till the crack of dawn and then started playing with the aussies cause everyone else was in bed. Also playing back in the mid-late kali days on cases ladder was always fun since the competition was so fierce. I always felt like I was playing against living legends when I'd face players with rediculously high logged records.

What makes you memorable?

the fact that I've been around so long and that I'm pretty good competition.

Who was the best of all time?

Depends who's hype you want to bite into. I've played this game at a high enough level for long enough to know that there's been countless highly intelligent and creative players come and go that at one point or another were probably the best players around at that instant. I could name a few players that've been consistently hyped as top players, who also played religiously for extended periods of time but I think that my final answer will be myself because I'm an egomaniac.

Describe your “career” from start to finish.

Started playing with my neighbors on the zone when the game first came out. Eventually they all stopped playing and I found myself more addicted than ever, so I picked up kali and played between there, kahn , heat and zone for a few years before bnet came out. I quit playing around the time bnet came out and started again a year or two later.

I've actually stopped playing this game for months and years at a time since the time it's been released but I don't remember all of the details. I'd say my peak competitive level was right before the bnet version was released, around when starcraft was out. I think coming back from that hiatus was probably where I found I had the most catching up to do since everyone seemed to have gotten a lot better with the release of shared vision.

The past 4 or so years of playing, I'd basically play regularly until I became one of the top current players and get bored since if the handful of players that were competitive weren't online I wouldn't be able to get a decent game. I still play on the russian server from time to time but I've lost any ambition to play fiercely and wish things were a little more active because I'd love to play this game another 10 years from now although I think the game is finally on it's death bed.
