If you could change one thing about War2 what would it be?
The merging of everyone into Bnet destroyed a few War2 communities, specifically one at zone which I enjoyed being a member of. Bnet, while it had a few advantages, wasn't as fun to play at for me. I thought it had an especially poor ladder system which took the competitive edge out of the game. (A few people tried to fix this by setting up online ladders, but I guess they didn't have the "Official" appeal to attract enough members).
Anything you regret?
I regret not spending all of my war2 time learning something. I did, however, thoroughly enjoy playing the game, and I met a few great friends that made the experience worthwhile. Unfortunately, I have lost contact with a great, great many of them. (contact me at email: drhop13@earthlink.net or aim: drhop13 if you think you might be one)
Confessions
None. I never cheated. If I ever insulted any of you, I probably didn't like you - get over it.
Thoughts on debatable issues
How much time do you really think I have?
Most memorable games/times?
When I first started playing War2 at zone, most of the people there were really cool college students who let me play with them even though I often lagged the game with my 33.6k modem - for some reason, memories of playing with them stick with me. My other memories are almost all filled with my greatest friends from war2.
What makes you memorable?
Don't ask me. Seems that Bizatch arbitrarily decided that I was memorable enough to put on the list (which I feel honored for).
Editor's Note: NUKEM did a great job making a top clan AND team out of Damage Inc. Being one of the best singles/team players put NUKEM on this.
How did you get your name?
I was 11 and made it up (before I had heard of Duke Nukem). I thought it sounded powerful.
Who was the best of all time?
No one I ever played with took the crown. There was too much competition for me to pick.
Describe your “career” from start to finish.
I lost... a lot...
